CES 2013: Sony announces 5 new cameras, including rugged TF1, Wi-Fi enabled WX80

Sony introduced a range of new cameras at the CES including the new rugged Cyber-shot TF1 camera.
Sony Cyber-shot TF1 camera has a 16.1-megapixel Super HAD CCD sensor with a 4x optical zoom. It is waterproof (up to 33 feet for 60 minutes), dustproof, shockproof and freeze proof camera, which has large buttons. One can also shoot at 720p with this camera and it is expected to start retailing in United States later in January for $199.
The Japanese consumer electronics major also added three new cameras in its W-Series with WX80, W730, W710. Cyber-shot WX80 comes with 16.2-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor, 8x optical zoom lens with 16x Clear Image digital zoom and Optical SteadyShot feature. It is a Wi-Fi enabled camera, which lets users to share images and video clips (only MP4clips) wirelessly to a compatible smartphone or tablet through Sony's PlayMemories app. It can also shoot videos in full-HD (1020X1080i). Cyber-shot WX80 will be available in red, black and white for about $199.
Sony Cyber-shot W730 camera sports a 16.1-megapixel Super HAD CCD sensor with an 8x optical zoom Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens. It will be available in silver, pink and blue for about $139.
The Sony Cyber-shot W710 camera features a 16.1-megapixel Super HAD CCD sensor with a 5x optical lens capable of shooting 720p video. It will be available for $99 in silver, pink and black colour options.

At $249, Sony Cyber-shot H200 is the most expensive camera of the lot. It comes with DSLR-like styling and grip design modelled after Sony's popular range of alpha interchangeable lens cameras. It features a 26x optical zoom Sony lens, a 20.1-megapixel Super HAD CCD sensor, 720p movie shooting and a 3.0-inch LCD screen. This camera will be available only in black colour option and is powered by 4 AA batteries.
